Connect an AI assistant

Plug ChatGPT or Claude into your Witness Labs account over MCP. Copy the server URL below, then follow the click-by-click steps for your assistant.

Each assistant signs into your Witness Labs account when it connects — the tools it can call act as you, under the same limits.

Connect

ChatGPT
  1. Open chatgpt.com → Settings → Connectors → Advanced and turn on Developer mode (heed the risk notice shown there).
  2. In the chat composer's + menu, turn on Developer mode.
  3. Click Add sources, then Connect more.
  4. Name the connector (e.g. Witness Labs) and paste the MCP URL from above.
  5. Ask ChatGPT to use Witness Labs.
Claude

  2. Name the connector and paste the MCP URL from above.
  3. Enable the connector from the chat composer, then ask Claude to use Witness Labs.

Refresh after the app changes

When Witness Labs ships new tools or updates existing ones, your assistant may still be holding the old list. Refresh the connector to pick up the latest.

ChatGPT
  1. Open ChatGPT's app preferences and pick Witness Labs under Enabled apps.
  2. Next to Information, click Refresh.
  3. If the URL changed, paste the latest URL from above.
  4. Start a new chat and ask ChatGPT to use Witness Labs.
Claude
  1. Open the Connectors page and select the Witness Labs connector.
  2. Refresh or update the connector's tools.
  3. If the URL changed, paste the latest URL from above.

Once connected, your assistant can look up your profile, browse your prompt history, delete history entries and check recent credit usage — all as your signed-in Witness Labs account.
