Playbooks

Six complete jobs, start to finish. Each one chains the engines and controls from the earlier chapters into a real result. Follow one end to end and the rest of the app will make sense.

IF YOU ONLY READ ONE THING
Work in the order the playbooks use — subject first, then Logic Gate, then materials, then camera. Fixing things in that order stops you chasing your own edits.
09.01

Concept Car — Sketch to Hero Render

Take a loose car idea to a locked, repeatable hero shot.

  1. Open AUTO. Put a plain description of the car in the main input — one line, no adjectives you can't defend.
  2. Set the Design House Logic Gate. That's the single biggest lever for the whole look.
  3. Load the closest preset, then swap out the materials to match the story you want to tell.
  4. Re-roll a few times with everything unlocked until one composition feels close.
  5. Lock the segments you like — usually Style, Materials and Camera.
  6. Refine the remaining segments only. Re-roll until each one earns its place.
  7. Hand the prompt to the Inner Atelier if you want a second opinion on stance, surfacing or lighting before shipping.
  8. Copy the final prompt to Midjourney at your chosen aspect ratio and render.
WHAT YOU GET

A hero exterior car render you can rebuild any time, because the prompt segments are locked.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Half an hour if you know what you want; longer if you're exploring. A handful of AI actions if you use the Atelier, otherwise most of it is free.

MAKE IT WORK

Lock segments the moment you find a composition that works. Everything after that becomes a controlled edit instead of a fresh roll of the dice.

Fashion Lookbook — A Consistent Seven-Shot Sequence

Seven shots that look like one shoot, not seven strangers.

  1. Open FASHION. Set a model archetype in the main input and a Fashion House as the Logic Gate.
  2. Build the first shot fully — garment, materials, styling, lighting, camera. This is your anchor.
  3. Lock the style, wardrobe and lighting segments on the anchor shot so the model, wardrobe and set stay consistent.
  4. Lock the Style, Materials and Lighting segments. Everything from here changes only framing and action.
  5. For the next six shots, change only the pose, framing, or camera segment. Nothing else.
  6. Use Lumen's Create 7-Shot Story inside the Inner Atelier for a shortcut — it generates the six variations off your anchor for you.
  7. Review the sequence together, not shot by shot. If one feels off, it's usually the pose, not the character.

About an hour end to end. Lumen adds a handful of AI actions; doing it by hand adds none.

Product CMF — Material Study with a Spec Sheet

Explore real material options and export a spec sheet you can hand over.

  1. Open CMF. Name the part or product in the main input — no adjectives, just the thing.
  2. Set the Material Influence Logic Gate. Choose the design world the materials should come from.
  3. Generate a first pass and read the surface story, not the composition. That's what CMF is for.
  4. Swap materials one at a time. Compare pairs — leather vs technical textile, matte vs satin — rather than freestyling.
  5. When a combination reads right, keep the materials and switch to a clean neutral background.
  6. Export the Spec Sheet — materials, colours, processes, finishes, sustainability score, manufacturing feasibility.
  7. Hand the spec sheet over as your material decision. Use another engine if you need the hero shot.
WHAT YOU GET

A defensible set of material choices and a Spec Sheet document you can pass to a designer, manufacturer or client.

WHAT TO EXPECT

A focused thirty to forty-five minutes if you already know the direction. The Spec Sheet itself is an Architect-tier action.

Treat CMF as a decision tool. The value is the surface story you commit to, not the render you save.

Exhibition Poster — Layout that Actually Reads

Build a poster with real hierarchy instead of decorative text.

  1. Open POSTER. Put the poster object in the main input — the thing the poster is about.
  2. Fill in your real headline, subtext and any small print in the poster fields. Don't leave it to the model.
  3. Set the Poster Theme Logic Gate. That decides the overall design register.
  4. Open the Inner Atelier and choose Sigma → Poster Forge for a recipe, density and layout character pass.
  5. Pick a recipe that matches the job — editorial, exhibition, technical spec — and let Sigma set the typography zones.
  6. Apply the sealed prompt back to POSTER and render.
  7. Treat any type the model writes as layout intent. Rebuild the final type yourself in a design tool if it's going to print.

A poster prompt with real hierarchy — headline, subtext, palette and layout logic that a designer could actually work with.

WHAT TO EXPECT

An hour or so with Poster Forge in the mix. Sigma sessions are the credit-heaviest part.

Set your real text yourself. Every minute you spend fighting a misspelled generated headline is a minute you could have spent designing the layout.

Character Model Sheet for Production

One character, multiple consistent views, ready to hand to an artist.

  1. Open CHARACTER. Describe the character in the main input — who they are, not how they're drawn.
  2. Set the Artistic Influence Logic Gate. Style lives here, not in the main input.
  3. Build a strong front-view portrait first. This is your anchor.
  4. Lock the anchor segments (style, subject, lighting).
  5. Switch to FLASH. Choose the character sheet or multi-view layout, keep the same prompt.
  6. Render at 1K first to check consistency across views. Push to 2K or 4K only once the sheet reads as one character.
  7. Save the sheet and the prompt together. That pair is what production actually needs.
WHAT YOU GET

A model sheet showing the same character from multiple angles, plus the prompt that produced it.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Around an hour, mostly spent on the anchor portrait. FLASH multi-view renders are Architect-tier at higher resolutions.

MAKE IT WORK

Get the anchor portrait truly right before you switch to multi-view. Every problem in the anchor gets multiplied across every view of the sheet.

Architectural Interior — Day to Night Continuity

Same room, two lighting states, still obviously the same room.

  1. Open ARCH-INT. Name the room type in the main input and set an Interior Designer as the Logic Gate.
  2. Build the daytime shot fully — layout, materials, furniture, natural light, camera position.
  3. Lock every segment except Lighting and Time of Day.
  4. Duplicate the prompt for the night pass.
  5. In the duplicate, change only Lighting and Time of Day — warm interior lamps, cooler window colour, deeper shadow.
  6. Render both. Compare side by side. If the room looks different, something other than lighting slipped through — go back and lock harder.
  7. Ship the pair together. Continuity is the whole point.
WHAT YOU GET

Two renders of the same interior at day and night that clearly read as one space.

WHAT TO EXPECT

About forty-five minutes. Very few AI actions if you build the pair by hand.

MAKE IT WORK

Lock ruthlessly. If the sofa moves an inch or a material shifts, the illusion of continuity breaks — and every extra unlocked segment is another chance for that to happen.
